Starting Point: A Fragmented Experience
The experience was fragmented—lacking a cohesive design system, consistent UI patterns, and a clear content strategy.
This led to inconsistent user experiences, slower development, and limited scalability.
A Scalable Design Foundation
Redesigned MoneyLion’s product foundation from the ground up—building a new visual identity, custom illustration system, and scalable design system. Scaled consistently across web, mobile, social, email, and TV—reaching 18M+ users.
A Connected Financial Ecosystem
Designed a system where community, identity, rewards, personalization, and AI work together to drive engagement, build trust, and improve financial outcomes.
AI-Powered Financial Intelligence
Designed a scalable system of AI-generated insights and conversational guidance that helps users understand their finances and take action.
Built the Community Profile
A public identity where users share achievements, interests, and activity, message other users, and send payments. Enabled social interaction, peer learning, and financial accountability—turning the product into a community-driven platform.

Scaled from 3M to 18M+ users, with my redesign and the Discover feed driving acquisition, engagement, and platform growth at scale.

The Discover Feed is the top revenue driver in the app, increasing quarterly revenue 4× and contributing to the company’s continued growth and acquisition by Gen Digital.
Industry Recognition
The product received Best Financial Literacy Tool (Benzinga Global Fintech Awards) and helped propel the app to #1 in Finance in the App Store.
